The purpose of this clinical trial is to assess the safety and effectiveness of an oral medication designed to improve glycemic control and support weight loss in individuals with type 2 diabetes mellitus. The study will also evaluate its impact on weight loss in people with obesity or those who are overweight with associated comorbidities. Participants will take part in two phases: an initial screening period followed by a treatment period. This research represents an important step toward developing better treatment options for individuals living with type 2 diabetes and obesity.
