The purpose of this clinical trial is to evaluate the safety and effectiveness of an oral medication for treating pain related to diabetic neuropathy. The study will compare the oral medication to a single dose of Pregabalin as well as a placebo. Participants will go through three phases: an initial screening, a treatment period, and a follow-up. This research is an important step toward developing better treatment options for people living with diabetic neuropathy pain.
